You role is to design a scalable, reliable and secure enterprise network for the company. You will configure the network based on your design using suitable simulation software (e.g., Cisco Packet Tracer) and conduct thorough testing. Your tasks are listed below:
• Analyse the given business scenario to produce a reliable, scalable and secure network design based on the provided network scenario. The designed network should be scalable, reliable, manageable and secure.
• Design a reasonable addressing scheme for the enterprise network, utilizing the given IPv4 network address 10.40.0.0/19 and IPv6 network address 2001.dcba.abcd::/48.
• Select relevant protocols to provide network redundancy.
• Evaluate potential security threats to the network and propose suitable and practical solutions to enhance network security.
• Design a network that provide secure Internet connections for all users. Additionally, ensure secure communication between remote users and HQ, as well as between HQ and branch offices using appropriate VPN techniques.
• Identify the best routing protocols for the proposed network to optimise its performance.
• Determine suitable network management method to effectively manage and monitor the network.
• Implement and test your design using a suitable simulation program.
• Prepare a PowerPoint Presentation file and 30-minutes video recording covering network design, implementation and testing. You presentation file should cover addressing table, network topology and a testing plan.
The network topology below satisfy the user requirements above and everything is verified, tested and working fine.
