Scenario Description: Secure Multinational Company Network:

ZXNet Ltd is a software development company. Its headquarters (HQ) is in London. It has three branch offices in Birmingham, Manchester and Liverpool in UK and an additional branch in Berlin in Germany. Their corporate management is based at their headquarters (HQ) in London. The head office has nine departments: Management (6 staff), Software development (125 staff), Research (30 staff) and Sales (20 staff), HR (8 staff), Finance (5), Marketing (9 staff), Admin (11 staff) and IT (7 staff). Currently there are only three departments in each of the branch office in UK: Sales (15 staff), service (2 staff) and Marketing (2 staff).

The branch in Berlin has an additional Research department with 10 staff. The number of employees in the company is expected to double in three years' time. The company's servers currently located in a 'Server Farm' zone in HQ that can be accessed by all employees but only managed by the IT department. You have been employed to design a scalable, reliable and secured enterprise network for the company. You will need to configure the network based on your design using suitable simulation software (e.g., Cisco Packet Tracer), test it thoroughly. In your report, you need to identify the major challenges faced by the modem enterprise networks.

Assessment Criteria:
    - Analyse the given business scenario to produce a reliable, scalable and secured network design based on the provided network requirements.
    - The designed network needs to be scalable, reliable, manageable and secured.
    - Document your network design including network diagrams to illustrate the proposed network design and layout. You have been given a IPv4 network address 10.10.0.0/16 and IPv6 network address 2001.aaba.abcd::/48 for the company network, you will need to design a reasonable addressing scheme for the enterprise network.
    - Choose the relevant protocols to provide network redundancy.
    - Evaluate the potential security threats to the network and propose suitable and practical solutions to secure the network.
    - The proposed network will provide secure Internet connection for all users. It will also provide secure communication between remote users and HQ and between HQ and branch offices using the appropriate VPN techniques.
    - Identify the best routing protocols for the proposed network, to optimise performance in an enterprise network.
    - Identify suitable network management method to manage and monitor the network.
    - Research the future trends in enterprise network design and propose other networking technologies can be used in the future to improve the enterprise network such as cloud computing, SDN and Al etc.
    - You do not need to implement this part in the simulation program
    - Implement and test your design using simulation program. Screenshots of testing should be included in the appendix part of the report.
